Victor Demarchelier

• Victor Demarchelier is a very famous photographer over seas, he shoots for all of the vogue magazines, he also shoots for a number of other fashion and well known magazines. Victor’s genre is mainly fashion and beauty photography. 

• The lighting style in this image is one main light to the right hand side and above the subject, the light is very strong in this image as there are harsh shadows on the left hand side of her face, there are also bright spots on the right hand side where the light is hitting it. The models makeup is very classical but she has spikes that are coming off the bottom and top of her eye lid, this makes the image more interesting as not a lot of photographers have experimented with spikes on eyes before. 

• The lighting style in this image is one main light above the model to the right hand side of her, there is also harsh lighting spots on her right side of her face, as the lighting is strong. This image is a cropped photograph of the subject, as you can only see the top half of her body. Her hair also seems like its moving from a fan as in this image it is flying in the air.

 

• The lighting style in this image is one main light above and to the left hand side of the model. As you can see there is shadows on the right hand side of her, where the light isn’t reaching her. This in image what i model is wearing is very interesting, as she has gold glitter shaped as skeleton. She also has gold tin foil in her hair, having the model wearing this makes the images very different and interesting.  

• There is one light to the left hand side of the model, it is harsh lighting as the shadows on the right hand side of her face are harsh. 

• The lighting style in this image is one main light in front of the model but a little bit to the right of her, the lighting is interesting as there is no harsh shadows on the models chest and only on her face the light is really bright.
